The blank notebook
- 01Staff lead him offstage, Léa on one side, Rahul on the other. Rahul pushes a phone away from Aris’s face. Three steps from the curtain, Aris turns.
- 02Third row, aisle seat. A middle-aged man has neither press badge nor camera. His notebook has remained blank. He has watched only Aris.
- 03The man closes the notebook and moves calmly through the crowd. Before reaching the door, he takes out his phone.
- 04Aris has given the world fire. He has also revealed that eleven unknown people exist. He looks down. Now his old hands are shaking.
